Meet our artists !!

Andy Park

I was born in the late sixties and raised in Montreal by a pack of wolves and a singing bear; I developed an affinity for comedy and cartooning at an early age and found myself often in detention after school washing my artwork and jokes off the desks.

An avid hockey fan, I’m always ready to debate how great the Habs are and poke fun at the Maple Laffs.

I took the leap into stand-up comedy from 1985-1990 and was in a few blues/ classic rock bands along the way playing bass and lead and backup vocals. My last band; Mid-Life Crisis played on a pontoon for the grand re-opening of the Lachine Canal in 1999.

Being a starving artist; I went and got a “real job” but that sucks, so BUY MY ART AND BOOK WHEN IT COMES OUT!!!!!!!

R.Hyatt

I’ve been drawing off and on since I was that 5 years old. 30 years later and I still possess an over-active imagination. I’d say I’m driven by a boundless and unquestionable need to get my vision of the worlds to create out of my head and into the world I share with all of you.

Gabe

I’ve always been a fan of superheroes and American comic art! My first introduction to superheroes was through batman the animated series. I then naturally found the x-men and Spiderman animated series on fox kids. I instantly fell in love with those characters, especially wolverine. I didn’t buy my first comic until my elementary school had a sort of garage/bake sale. And I bought my first spawn comic for a dollar. When I was about 8 or 9 I would go to my local dep to tune into my favorite heroes’ newest adventure. They were nice to look at, but then one day I picked up a copy of x-men #11 (during the Jim lee run) and that was it. I told myself I want to make stuff like this! Jim Lee inspired me to pick up a pencil and start drawing. In the years 2003 – 2004 I would go on to do stick figure comics with my childhood/ and to this day, my best friend “Freddy.”

From then on into high school I was encouraged by my peers to draw but I was I guess taking a break from art cause I found music and that was taking up most of my time, but I would doodle any chance I got. Then in 2013, I decided to take a break from music and the Montreal music scene and get back into drawing. Mainly because I was working for a comic book shop at the time, but also because the comic book movies were trending. so with everything said and done, it’s been 5 years since I’ve returned (seriously) into the drawing world and it’s opened up a few doors for me and the results have been amazing.

I’ve gotten to draw with some of the artists in the comic book industry. Gotten commissions and started branding myself, and have even gotten into tattooing. My Hope in the next 5-10 years is to get into the comics book industry however I can, or start specializing in comic book style tattoos.
